Best of: Urban Outfitters.

Hello friends!

Instead of doing a generic introductory post, I thought I'd just nosedive straight into what I love most and what this blog will be centered around: Singlets. After all, why should I waste time introducing myself when I have these 5 delicious singlets to analyze, handpicked off the greatest online store of all time (UrbanOutfitters.com)? This blog isn't about me or my life; it's about singlets. It strives to document my infinite, neverending, passionate love affair with one of the most sartorially prevalent, versatile and trendy wardrobe staples of the 21st century: for men and women, straight and gay alike. I shall humbly identify myself on this blog only as "Swift," which is my family name. No, Taylor isn't my sister, cousin or blood relative (as far as I know).

1. Outcast Americana Tank Top
First of all, it honestly upsets me when singlets are falsely identified and carelessly labeled as a "tank top." Anyway, this singlet proudly displays the flag of my birthplace and home, and is a personal favorite of mine. I even wore it on July 4th when the good old USA was covered head to toe in stars and stripes and all things red, white and blue! God Bless America.

2. BDG Striped Tri-Blend Tank Top
Boasting the same red, white and blue palette as the Americana singlet above, this stunning BDG creation conveys a more nautical, beachy vibe - perfect for the season which is now upon us! My favorite way to wear this singlet is over swimming trunks at the beach as a cover-up.

3. BDG Speckled Contrast-Pocket Tank Top
And BDG's at it again! I'm not usually a fan of boldly color-blocked singlets like these, however I am a total sucker for this bright, eclectic and unexpected color combination. While the pop-of-color-pocket design technique has been exhausted through the seasons, I can't help but fall in love with the cerulean blue color of this versatile tank. Paired with baggy jeans, a well-worn pair of kicks and a jacket, this singlet's a winner in my heart.

4. Deter Elephant Tank Top
A much more flamboyant, statement option, this elephant emblazoned singlet bears not only an image of this lovely, gentle mammal, but a tribal, intricate print utilizing a warm-color palette. A great summery option, this look is best worn with khakis or cut-offs.

5. Me-Wow Mix Tank Top
I have no words for this catty, feline extravaganza. As a personal cat-hater (my teacup poodles own my heart and there is no room for furry things that scratch and meow), this shirt is pretty damn cute and has gotten me many ladies in the past (score!). A great conversation starter and an even greater pajama option.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more singlet rambles coming soon!
